Exercise Rehabilitation

At True Physiotherapy, we truly believe that movement is medicine, and believe that an individually tailored exercise program can have a profound positive impact on one’s general health and wellbeing.
During our initial assessment, we provide an accurate diagnosis, identify areas which could be improved or muscle imbalances that are contributing to your problem, and then use this information to formulate an exercise rehabilitation plan which we guide you through and progress.

We also have affiliations with local gyms which we can provide assessments in-house.
Worker's Compensation & Car Accident Claims

Unfortunately, accidents happen, and injuries often occur at the workplace and whilst driving on the road. These injuries can have a significant impact on someone’s physical and mental wellbeing.
Our Physiotherapists take the time to listen to our patients, and provide them with not only the treatment, but also the support they need, to overcome their situation and return to work or doing what they love most.
We guarantee that our Physiotherapists will regularly liaise and collaborate with your Doctor, Case Manager, Rehab Consultant, and all members of your rehab team who are assisting with your recovery, to ensure the process is stress and hassle-free.
Dry Needling

Our Physiotherapists have completed their Advanced Dr Needling Courses and have mastered the technique of inserting single sterile acupuncture needles into specific myofascial trigger points within muscles.
Research has shown that this technique can significantly reduce pain and muscle tension. A thorough assessment is performed to determine if dry needling is an appropriate technique for each client.
Posture Correction

Our Physiotherapists are highly trained in posture improvement and correction. Poor posture can lead to numerous problems including tension, headaches, stiffness, back and neck pain, and nerve/disc issues, among others.
Whether its due to years of slouching or genetics, our Physiotherapists will implement a variety of strategies to correct your posture and educate our patients about the correct ergonomic setup and manual handling techniques for work and the home office.
NDIS

Physiotherapy services can have a significant positive impact on the lives of our NDIS patients.
From our extensive experience working with NDIS clients, we have found that clients living with a disability can often suffer from reduced mobility, a lack of confidence, pain and stiffness, and all of these factors can reduce their willingness to participate in the community and reduce their quality of life.
Our Physiotherapists offer ‘in the home’ and ‘in clinic’ services to our NDIS clients, guaranteeing one-to-one time for the entire session, and collaborative treatment sessions where the practitioner will always tailor the session around our patients’ requests and needs on the day.
Joint and Muscle Pain

Our Physiotherapists specialize in hands-on treatment and provide a range of techniques to alleviate your joint and muscle pain including massage, joint mobilization/manipulation, taping, dry needling, and cupping.
Our goal is to achieve sustainable change, and we will always combine hands-on treatment with an exercise program to allow you to take control of your joint and muscle pain and prevent it from coming back.
Pre-Employment Assessments

These assessments are extremely important for both the patient and the employer, as they are used to determine one’s suitability and/or readiness to commence a working role.
Our Physiotherapists are highly trained in conducting Pre-Employment Assessments, and are equipped with all the necessary tools and apparatus to obtain the relevant objective measures and data specific to each role.
Strength & Conditioning

Our Physiotherapists have worked with numerous high-level athletes and bodybuilders, and therefore understand the physical requirements of competing at this level, as well as how to treat and manage the injuries that arise.
We understand that patients want to return to ‘pain-free’ training at the gym, or playing sport, as quickly as possible, and we use our extensive knowledge to accurately diagnose your condition and formulate an accelerated program for a swift return to sport or the gym. We ensure that we work with you to achieve these goals in a timely but safe manner, to minimize your risk of re-injury.
Pre/Post-Op Rehabilitation

It is imperative that you have a rehabilitation plan leading into an operation as well as afterwards. Many specialists today will delay operations until the patient has achieved some improvement in their range of movement or strength prior to an operation, in order to have the best outcome post-surgery.
Our Physiotherapists are experts at administering the latest evidence-based techniques and guided exercises to ensure you are ready for your procedure.
After surgery, many patients struggle with the transition from hospital to their recovery at home due to a lack of education and support. Our Physiotherapists are experts at delivering optimal post-surgical care including patient education, explaining the do’s and don’ts, massage to reduce pain, break-down scar tissue and improve mobility, and a guided exercise program to ensure that you make an optimal recovery.
DVA

We are proud to be registered with the DVA and deliver Physiotherapy services to our beloved veterans.
Our physiotherapists are highly skilled at reducing pain and stiffness, increasing mobility and preventing further injury, and we take great pride in providing these services to such deserving Australians
Aged Care

Our Physiotherapists have spent numerous years working in nursing homes, and seeing elderly patients both in our clinic and at their homes in the community.

We offer both ‘in the home’ and ‘in clinic’ Physiotherapy services to all of our clients.
Mobile services have proven very effective and safe for our elderly clients as it removes the need to organize transport/drive to a clinic, and receive the benefits of Physiotherapy treatment in the comfort of their own home for those who are less mobile.
Home Physiotherapy

No curtains, no annoying wait times, no need to find a babysitter for your kids, and no need to leave the house and take too much time out of your busy schedule!
These are just some of the many benefits of receiving mobile or ‘in the home’ Physiotherapy services, as well as enabling those who are less mobile/unable to leave the home, to have access to quality health care.
We offer home Physiotherapy services after hours (up until 9pm!) and all day Saturdays, to ensure that you always have access to Physiotherapy and can always receive urgent treatment in the case of an emergency.
